Adult friend finder hack database

The hack also revealed that the company had kept information on 15 million accounts that users had deleted, as well as information on users for assets it no longer owned, such as Penthouse.

By comparison, the Ashley Madison hack that took place in July 2015 revealed 32 million accounts, although that attack was also accompanied by a more aggressive extortion campaign.

"It’s clear the company has majorly flawed security postures, and given the sensitivity of the data the company holds this cannot be tolerated.

The scale of the supposed breach is far greater than the 2015 hack of cheating site Ashley Madison, which saw 35 million members publicly exposed.

However, it is thought the details found from the Adult Friend Finder hack are less useful to criminal gangs.

Keep this in mind and it will prevent many bad things from happening online."Other experts have criticized the way the personal data was stored, particularly with regards to the importance of password security."Storage of clear-text passwords is inexcusable in today's world," says Mike Raggo, chief research scientist at social media security firm Zero Fox.

ALMOST 400 million accounts on sex and swinger site Adult Friend Finder have been allegedly exposed in what is believed to be the biggest security breach of its kind.
